Maryland Newborn Studio Photographer | Spring Baby

This sweet girl's newborn session was beautiful.  But first, I had the honor of capturing mom’s maternity portraits a few weeks prior to baby's arrival.  The soft pinks and flowing gown, borrowed from our studio for the session, were gorgeous ways to represent the upcoming arrival of their little girl with a whimsical feminine feel.  Every expecting mama should be made to feel as beautiful as she looks.  Here are a few of my favorites of this gorgeous mama in the gown but keep reading to see more from her baby girl's Maryland newborn session! 

Welcome to the World Sweet Girl

This little newborn is an absolute princess. We kept with a pink and girly theme when customizing her newborn session, incorporating the same soft colors and feminine feel to the images from her maternity session. With her making her grand debut in Spring, we wanted to represent this in her images somehow. I hand painted the perfect backdrop for just this moment!  I was so excited to use the cherry blossom backdrop for a newborn session.  Painting my own backgrounds for sessions brings such a personal and unique element to the portraits, and this hand painted backdrop was perfect for what we were trying to achieve.  

This cutie was picture perfect throughout her session, and was born camera ready. She slept for a portion of her session, but she also gave us some very awake and alert moments. She was more than happy to show of those big beautiful eyes.  When posing with mommy and daddy she gave us a giant smile, score! It was such a sweet moment to capture for this beautiful couple and their sweet growing family.
