Ahh, the cake smash session. The sweetest tradition I thoroughly enjoy capturing! It's not only the celebration of these little one's first year ... but the celebration of every giggle, every sleepy yawn, every first experience and the endless joy these little angels bring into our lives. Not to mention a celebration for mom and dad making it through 12 months :) It's true when they say "a baby fills a place in your heart that you never knew was empty".

A baby’s first birthday is one to remember. This cutie pie’s special day was so incredibly precious. Her first glee-filled photo shoot will surely delight friends and family for years to come. This precious one-year-old LOVED being the life of the party. Her eyes lit up with joy when she realized the cake was actually food. She danced, clapped her hands, and smashed her cake as if no one was watching. She loved being in the spotlight!

For this Spring baby, the pink blossoms matched her sweet rosy cheeks perfectly. The outfits her mom picked out coordinated flawlessly with our hand-painted cherry blossom backdrop, and the delicious cake displayed stunningly intricate blooms. The fresh flowers were the “cherries on top” of this charming cherry blossom cake smash!
