Maryland Children's, Newborn & Family Photographer Now Offering Mentoring Sessions!

Danielle Sara Photography has been running a successful portrait photography studio for 10 years. We are proud to offer mentoring sessions to anyone who wants to expand his or her knowledge of photography and/or studio lighting. Mentoring sessions are flexible and crafted to best fit your needs They are customized to focus on what YOU want to learn – if you have experience or just need help getting out of auto mode. Please see below for the types of mentoring options offered.

Online Mentoring:

This is a completely customizable one-hour online (Skype) newborn mentoring session. I will share my experience and knowledge to discuss any aspects related to technique or business that you would like to cover. Includes post-session access to me by email with any additional questions for 60 days. The session cost is $249.

How it works:

After you book your mentoring session, you will be asked to complete a short questionnaire that will give me an idea of how to prepare for our Skype meeting based on what you want to learn. From your responses, I'll prepare information to make the most of our time together. We will cover all things newborn related. These areas can include lighting, posing, wrapping, soothing, and more. At the end, I will help you implement what you learned and create an action plan for success.

NOTE: You can choose to add on a custom editing session to your package for an additional $150. This includes an additional 45 minutes of remote editing (you'll be able to see how I edit my images, or yours) using Lightroom and Photoshop.

In Person Sales Mentoring:

I will teach you the methods that I use to run a successful IPS (in person sales) based studio. I use multiple tools and steps to create a profitable business based on in-person sales of products and digital image files. I will share this information with you. Includes post-session access to me by email with any additional questions for 60 days.

How it works:

After you book your IPS mentor session, you will be asked to complete a short questionnaire that will give me an idea of how to prepare for our Skype meeting. From your responses, I'll prepare information to make the most of our time together. I will coach you and help give you the tools to run a successful IPS based business. You will learn how I use email, phone calls, verbiage, and much more. At the end, I will help you implement what you learned and create an action plan for success.

In-Person Photography Mentoring Experience:

This is an in-person 1:1 photography experience with a focus on one of the following areas: maternity, baby, or newborn. This is a completely customizable four-hour mentoring session. I will share my experience and knowledge to discuss any aspect related to technique or business that you would like to cover. Includes live models for shooting time as well as editing time. Includes post-session access to me by email with any additional questions for 60 days.

How it works:

1. Once you book your session, I'll be in touch to schedule our time together. All in-person mentoring will take place at my Rockville, MD studio.

2. We'll spend four hours together. The first 1-2 hours will include an all-encompassing discussion about your area of interest. We'll cover topics including but not limited to posing, lighting, client interaction, sales, editing and marketing. I’ll share my knowledge and my steps for a successful and profitable session.

3. The second half of your session will be hands-on. I will provide a model and we will do a session together so you can gain experience in a variety of different areas. You will be able to use images taken in your portfolio.

4. After your experience, you will receive bonus materials from me that will help you take the next step towards success.

NOTE: Share your mentoring experience with another photographer or two and split the cost!

Join me for a business critique – This includes (2) 30-minute face time calls to discuss your goals/ hopes and a follow up post critique call to see positive changes after you execute what is suggested, full website critique, social media critique, portfolio review, and more.
