NEWBORN BABY GIRL SESSION AT THE ROCKVILLE PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO

This lovely couple recently visited our Rockville Maryland photography studio to capture their newborn baby girl’s first days of life! I really enjoyed meeting these first time parents and their beautiful girl. It’s was an honor to freeze their precious memories and I know they will look back on these images fondly in the years to come.

The style of this session was simple and timeless, using a classic neutral backdrop and introducing subtle hints of soft pinks. Doesn’t baby girl look so angelic, swaddled in cozy blankets and snoozing away?

An easy way that I create variety in my newborn images is letting baby lead the session with how they feel comfortable; with baby lying on their belly or snuggling on their side. I even got a sweet smile out of her while she was asleep! I always make sure to capture their tiny features like hands and feet so parents can remember just how small their baby was. I’m a sucker for the closeup detail shots.
