Maryland Newborn Professional Photographer | Before and After editing

When babies are born, they are everything! Let’s face it, as parents, there is nothing more special than our kids, and we never want to see them grow up. We want them to be our babies forever. That’s why newborn photography is one of my favorite types of sessions to photograph. I get to work with some of the best parents and sweetest babies ever. Watching the love in a mom or dad’s eyes as they look at their new child is irreplaceable to me. Capturing these moments for parents is something that is definitely worth documenting. I have spent years learning about everything that goes into newborn photography and editing is just one of those elements that goes into the art that we create for you.  

A Little Support to Ensure Safety

Newborns are very dependent and fragile little things, and safety is the utmost importance. Sometimes we give a newborn’s head a little support while taking the photo, just to be extra safe. Of course their parents don’t want our hands in the photos so we use Photoshop to remove any unwanted elements. In this example, Sheri used one finger to make sure little baby boy’s head didn’t wobble. Then in Photoshop we create a little magic to carefully remove her hand from the photo and keep his adorable peach fuzz hair in place. This is great because we are still able to get those super cute portraits, and our precious little clients stay comfy and sleep soundly throughout it all.
