Sessions for a Baby 6-9 Months Old: Sitting Babies
I believe that every part of your baby’s growing up journey is a chance to capture special memories, including during the stage where they are just learning to sit up on their own. At the 6-9 month mark, they are sitting up on their own, exploring their environment more, and becoming expressive with big smiles and contagious laughs! It’s a fantastic best time to bring in your little one to the studio for a little photo-op to capture this fleeting and fun age!
Photographing them at this age makes for a short and sweet session. We don’t need a lot of time to showcase your baby’s personality so a mini session works great! We take take time to get comfortable in a new setting, include outfit changes, and play with toys and props. Similar to our newborn and cake smash sessions, we have a go-with-the-flow approach and let the baby take the lead. This usually ends up giving us the best images!
Below I’ve put together a few highlights of sitting session babies to give you inspiration for your child’s future photoshoot. If you see any themes that you like, or if you’ve got some ideas of your own, feel free to reach out and share with me! I’m excited to capture these memories for your family!
