Sprinkle Cake Smash Session

Turning 1 year old is a milestone to treasure, and a cake smash is definitely the way to celebrate your baby’s birthday! For this client, we went all out to make her daughter’s session special and colorful, just like her personality.

Getting creative with the backdrop is one of the most exciting parts about doing this kind of photoshoot in our studio. The large cut-out letters along with the giant cupcake decor helped convey this little girl’s vibrant personality and Mom’s love of sprinkles and baking! The multicolored sprinkle balloons made the setting extra festive.

Baby girl’s pre-cake photos feature her in a delicate white blouse and soft pink flower headband. The neutral tones allowed her sweet personality to shine through, and contrast nicely with her colorful cake smash images. How gorgeous are her eyes?

I loved photographing this precious girl her as a newborn and again as a one year old. It is such an honor to capture little ones as they grow!
