Love was in the air at our Rockville, Maryland photography studio during our annual Valentine's Day mini sessions! I love seeing the families who make these sessions a yearly tradition plus meeting all the new kids too.

I feel so lucky for the opportunity to be baby’s first photographer for so many families in the Maryland, Virginia and DC area. It has been another amazing year at our newborn photography studio filled with so many precious babies! It was an honor to help each of my clients and their families welcome their little one into the world by taking their first pictures.

I had the pleasure of capturing this sweet little girl's first birthday milestone at the Rockville Maryland photography studio! Her mom envisioned a scene with pretty pastel colors and we made it happen. Before the cake came out, we started off with a classic setup, followed by a gorgeous smash, and some fun time in the bath.

When this sweet family approached me for their newborn photo session, they had a clear vision: they wanted neutral, cozy, and candid family portraits in the studio. As a photographer, I love it when clients come prepared with a specific aesthetic in mind, as it allows me to really tailor the session to their unique tastes, while also sticking with my style.

While much of my work is comprised of swaddling tiny babies during newborn sessions and creating fun backdrops for cake smashes, I also love to photograph older kids to show off their personalities! I think it’s important to capture all the special stages that your children experience as they grow older. All of these adorable siblings visited the Rockville Maryland photography studio for one of our special event days, or what I like to call: Personality Mini Sessions! Our goal was to ‘capture their personalities’ and I think we nailed it!

Newborn sessions are so fun because I get to capture all the precious moments and details of a baby who has just been welcomed into the world!
