one year old twin boy cake smash photography

The only thing better than one sweet baby is two sweet babies! That is exactly what we get with a twin Cake session! This was a session with two brothers who I had the pleasure of photographing as newborns too. See my favorite image from their newborn session at the end of this post! 

This was such a fun session. We started with portraits of the boys together and individually. As you can imagine with one year old twins, its always a challenge! Then we set up for their milestone birthday cake smash. When one was enjoying the cake, the other was crying, and vice versa. But that is the beauty of capturing the real life of twins :)

Mom wanted a Thing 1 and Thing 2 Dr. Seuss theme to go along with their first birthday party decor. This theme was perfect for this rambunctious and adorable duo. I love the way it turned out!

Siblings are something special but twins make that bond even closer. These boys have a built in best friend and I love capturing this relationship for them.  I have photographed several sets of twins over the years and they are each so special.
