Maryland Newborn Photographer | one month old baby boy

This was one of the liveliest newborn sessions I have ever done! This adorable guy was 1 month old but so alert and ready to take on the world! Most babies can hardly keep their eyes open for extended periods of time, but this little one was not about to miss his time in the spotlight. He wiggled and danced, punching his arms and legs high in the air. Such a happy guy! He was full of adorable faces too. His parents will have plenty of amazing images of him looking up at the camera with those big brown eyes. In one of the photos, it almost looked like he was winking and giving me a fist bump! He certainly kept me laughing and on my toes. He had his own moves to show off!

This was mama's first baby and he was such a sweet baby boy. For a one month old, he already has such long gorgeous hair! Just look at those dark, handsome locks!

I find that if you let baby be awake for a little while and get some energy out, they will eventually fall asleep! His mom loved the idea of mixing sleeping images with awake images. I’m glad he decided to cooperate. The blue tone on his skin with his hair looked so perfect for his sleeping newborn portraits.

Mom also brought some cute overalls for him to wear. The plaid pants and matching cap made him look quite dapper, super cute, and even more like a little man.  It’s nice to include a few personal items from home into sessions and I’m always happy to do this for families at our Maryland photography studio.  

I really had such a great time with this sweet baby boy. I can’t wait to see him (and his hair!) again for his 6 month session. Welcome to the world, handsome guy!
