As families grow, it’s fun to watch them go from their very first newborn session into yearly family portraits and newborn photos as new members are welcomed in. Many of the Danielle Sara Photography families are recurring clients. One of the best parts of having a consistent Maryland family photographer you feel comfortable with (and one who specializes in both newborns and families) is that you can count on beautiful pictures that match in style. In the end, you’ll have a consistent, seamless collection of family portraits from your kids’ childhood.

Read MoreThis is baby number three for this sweet family and I could not have been more honored to photograph another beautiful baby miracle for them! I decided to keep this newborn baby girl photography session simple, clean and white. These are my absolute favorites and we have been doing a lot of white color tones at the studio lately. The focus is always all about the baby and the colors do not distract from other pieces in the home when displayed. I always enjoy working with props and cute accessories, but they are not always needed to create beautiful newborn portraits.
Read MoreBring me all the babies to snuggle!! But I also love the behind the scenes work when I sit at my computer and get to bring my creative vision to life. Some babies have perfect porcelain skin and some do not. The hormones, labor process, and overall sensitivity to a new environment make every baby’s skin react differently. Either way is ok and it eventually goes away! My goal is to create a final image so that your baby looks just as you see them. I try very hard not to over edit natural skin tones, birth marks, and any areas that would take away from the natural beauty of your baby.
Read MoreClients often come into the Maryland photography studio with a vision of how they would like to display their favorite images in their home. And others don't have any idea of how they'd like to display their images, and that's ok! Design is part of our process. Some don't have a lot of wall space and prefer prints and albums to look through, some want a statement piece to admire in the nursery, and others envision a gallery wall of framed portraits lining the hall. No matter what works best for you and your family, it is my job to help you figure it out and make it happen!
Read MoreWe have been so busy with newborns at our Maryland newborn photography studio lately and loving every minute of it! I wanted to share a few of the adorable images from this recent newborn session. Look how sweet this new baby is! I especially love the ones with her big sister. You can see how much they look alike. Sessions like these are ones that make me remember how lucky I am to do this everyday.
Read MoreI get sad thinking about the fact that both of my children have grown into toddlers already. I love the baby stage so much I would almost consider having another baby just to experience it again (don't tell my husband!) A baby's first year is such an exciting, fast, and exhausting stage of life for parents. There are so many milestones that happen – they grow and change so fast! Some of my absolute favorite images of my children are from birth to one year old.
